Directions to Hurley-Hoey
The run will start and finish at St Joseph’s Doora-Barefield GAA Club headquarters at Gurteen in Doora. The club is located approximately 4 kilometers south of Ennis on the R469 Quin to Ennis Road. The club facilities at Gurteen are easily accessible from Junction 12 of the M18 Ennis by-pass.
From The South:
If travelling north on the M18 [from Limerick towards Galway] take exit 12 and keep in the right lane of the dual lane exit slip road to access the Killow West roundabout. Follow the road to the right around the roundabout taking 3rd exit and cross the motorway flyover to access the Killow East Roundabout. Take the first exit [straight ahead] signposted for Quin (R469) and Doora.
From The North:
If travelling South on the M18 [from Galway towards Limerick] take Exit 12 and from the Killow East Roundabout take the first Exit signposted Quin and Doora. Follow the local L4104 road past Doora Church [1.4kms on the right] for 3kms to the junction of the R469 Quin Ennis Road. Turn left for Gurteen St Joseph’s GAA as signposted. Travel north for 500 metres and Club facilities are on the right hand side.From Ennis Town:
Access from Ennis Town to the St Joseph’s GAA facilities at Gurteen is via the R469 Quin Road which leaves the town via the mini-roundabout on Clonroad, past the railway station and over the railway bridge. The GAA grounds are approximately 4kms from the railway station on the left hand side.
